FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method includes production of samples from one or more process flows and measurement of actual stability and optical density of specified samples in the near infrared area of the spectrum. At first a classification model is developed to identify subgroups of samples, and a correlation model is created on the basis of stability and optical density data by means of inclusion of this data into the mathematical function. Then measurements are carried out in the process flow of hydrocarbons in online or offline mode. At the first stage they use the classification model for subgroup identification, and then the appropriate correlation model is used for forecasting of the flow stability.
EFFECT: quick and efficient determination of process flow stability under frequent variations of loading type.
