SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems and methods for measuring characteristics and for quantitative determination of disperse medium parameters, in particular, for measuring concentration of particles or tendency to form disperse phase in specimen of flowing medium. Method uses optic device to measure tendency to pollution of technological flowing medium in different points in technological installation. Results of measurement are compared with each other with application of forecasting techniques to estimate potential of pollution in installation and to determine proper dosage of chemical. Pollution-preventing chemical is then introduced into installation to regulate pollution rate.
