SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of animal protection and can be used to protect the birds from electric shock. The device for protecting birds of anti-landing type for power transmission towers comprises a plate and two mount fittings. The plate is made of a polymer dielectric material or a composite dielectric material of the polymer base. On one long side of the plate there are teeth. On the second long side of the plate there are mount fittings. The plate is fixed with the teeth up on the element of a power transmission tower designed for mounting the insulators. The effective protection of birds is achieved on a long area of the element of a power transmission tower.
EFFECT: possibility is provided to use the device in areas with high wind load, with high snow precipitation, with a high probability of icing.
