FIELD: electric power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to combined protective devices intended for protection of wires and pin or reference linear insulators of overhead power lines with voltage of 6–35 kV. Device consists of anti-filler element (1) and attachment assembly. Element can be made spherical, conical, ellipsoidal or other streamlined geometrical shape and is made from dielectric material or from electrically conductive material with dielectric coating. Insulating shell (2) can be made closed or detachable and installed on wire (3) near insulator (4) and is attached to wire (3) by means of clamps (5). Length of shell (2) is selected from range from 150 to 2500 mm, and height of element (1) is selected from range from 20 to 1000 mm. Attachment assembly is annular disc (6), consisting of two sectors capable of rotation relative to each other. Element (1) is inserted into slots available in sectors of annular disc (6) and is attached thereto.
EFFECT: invention provides creation of universal, simple in design and affordable device, which effectively protects wires and insulators of overhead lines 6–35 kV from negative effect of products of animals and birds, as well as protects animals and birds from electric shock.
