FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lump separation of raw materials and can be used for concentration of ores of ferrous and nonferrous metals. Proposed method comprises heat transfer by heating ore lumps by effect of high-frequency currents, securing of heated mineral components on heat-sensitive working surface of conveyor and their further selection. Relatively heavy pieces with high content of useful component is extracted by means of their slipping through heat-sensitive surface after single heating, and with low content of useful component-after repeated heating. Main conveyor belt is reinforced by fibres, having higher strength and softening temperature than that of belt. Distance between fibres is more than pieces of ore. Under main at least one additional conveyor is arranged. Placing pieces of ore to belt is combined with interaction with metal detecting, by signals of which is start-stop conveyor and activation-deactivation of currents is performed. Slippage is completed on belt of additional conveyor. Additional conveyor belt is made from silicon rubber. Conveyor belt is additionally cooled. Additional conveyor belt is made with recesses. From additional conveyor belt pieces of ore are passed through sieve. Parts of belt with useful component change speed of its motion depending on weight.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, simplified design and improved operational characteristics.
