SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device of pair of rollers for embossing of ribbon-like material, which consists of a patrix and a matrix located during work at a predetermined axial and radial positions to form a gap between the rollers. At least one of the rollers has at least two labels on its lateral surface, of which two labels respectively between one length have an angle a with 0<α<90°, at that the labels are located depending on the embossing pattern.
EFFECT: providing opportunity to reduce the number of labels and readers when setting up the rollers for work with the required accuracy.
