FIELD: marking.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for creating and reading markings. The technical result consists in increasing the reliability of marking by reducing the probability of erroneous identification of the marked object. The technical result is achieved due to the fact that the marking of objects contains the first protective element and the second protective element, each protective element is associated with a set of data segments, and each protective element, depending on the capture conditions, in particular the viewing angle and/ or lighting direction, shows a code segment which is an optoelectronic readable representation of one of the data segments of the set associated with the corresponding security element, wherein different individual data segments are represented by different code segments, and the set associated with the first security element differs by at least one data segment from set associated with the second security element.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of marking by reducing the probability of erroneous identification of the marked object.
