FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention proposes to use N-alkyl-N-methylmorpholinium (alkyl = n-decyl, n-dodecyl, n-tetradecyl, n-hexadecyl) of general formula , where n = 10, 12, 14, 16, as a corrosion inhibitor-bactericide for steel in mineralised hydrogen sulphide-containing and carbon dioxide media.
EFFECT: wider range of agents for said purpose, low concentration of the corrosion inhibitor while providing a protective effect for steel equipment.
