FIELD: corrosion protection.

SUBSTANCE: invention provides corrosion inhibitor, which can be used for protection of metals against hydrogen sulfide, carbonic acid, and hydrochloric acid corrosion and sulfate-reducing bacteria grow control. Preparation of inhibitor comprises reaction of (i) oxyethylenated mono-C₄-C₃₀-alkylphenol having 1 to 18 ethylene oxide groups or mixture of oxyethylenated mono- and di-C₄-C₃₀-alkylphenols having 1 to 18 ethylene oxide groups with (ii) phosphorus-containing compound on heating followed by bringing thus obtained product into reaction with (iii) substances based on nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds at (i)/(ii)/(iii) molar ratio 1:(0.5-1.5):(0.5-1.5), said substances being coal resin processing product.
