FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a freely rotating drum, which may wind or unwind a protective cover (10), installed on a mechanism of longitudinal displacement, comprising guides (6), installed at both sides of the surface, a system for fixation of the specified protective cover (10) to one transverse edge of the surface, a system for continuous fixation of longitudinal edges of the protective cover (10) in the specified guides (6), which are gradually engaged as it unwinds. As a result of displacement and rotation of the drum the protective cover (10) will wind/unwind above the coated surface.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase stability and tightness of a cover, makes it possible to increase extent of protection of covered surfaces.
