FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a device for applying a coating on a surface. Technical result is achieved by that device (1) for applying coating on surface (3) comprises substantially rectangular coating (10), drum (2), installed on mechanism for longitudinal translational movement along guides (6), located one on each side of said surface (3), and wherein each is made of a profile section having opening (14) on one of its faces and facing away from the surface to be coated, wherein said face comprises at least adjacent bend (6a) located on side adjacent to surface to be coated, and partially closing said opening (14), wherein said translation mechanism enables longitudinal translational movement of drum in first direction, which leads to unrolling and unwinding coating above surface (3), which must be coated, and in second direction, which leads to winding and removing coating from said surface (3), deflection surface (13) to be coated, so as to direct and position said bulge (12) of each coating edge facing opening (14) in corresponding guide (6) as the drum progressively moves in the first direction, which leads to unwinding the coating, a system for continuously blocking thickenings (12) of the longitudinal edges coating (10) in opening (14) of said guides (6), enabling possibility, as soon as thickening (12) entered into opening (14), to block it by jamming it under adjoining bend (6a) of corresponding guide as coating (10) gradually unwinds, and, when the drum translationally moves in the second direction, release the bulge, wherein the apparatus further includes shoe catching (50), slidably inserted into each guide in the downstream direction relative to deflection surfaces (13) in a first direction of translation, wherein said engaging shoe comprises top part (50X) located outside guides and attached to translation mechanism so as to move along guides with drum, and lower part (50Y) inserted into opening (14) in corresponding guide, comprising lower base (51), geometric shape of which is such that thickening is directed under adjoining bend (6a), as well as technical result is achieved using this device, as well as method of applying on surface of coating using this device.
EFFECT: technical result is correct fixation of longitudinal edges of coating in appropriate guides.
