FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: plant for fatigue testing of materials during twisting comprises a base, coaxial active and passive grips for ends of the sample, a mechanism of reciprocal movements of the active grip, comprising a geared wheel, installed on the active grip, and a drive of its rotation. The plant has a guide, radially fixed on the passive grip, a weight installed on the guide, a drive for weight movement along the guide, made in the form of a set of electromagnetic coils, installed along the guide and interacting with the weight. The plant comprises a shaft, which is coaxially fixed on the passive grip, the weight installed on the shaft with the possibility of rotation relative to the shaft, a fixator for connection of the weight with the shaft and a drive of weight rotation.

EFFECT: provision of testing under loading of a sample with sign-alternating twisting forces in the mode of specified loads with smooth stepped cyclic or pulse variation of load level in process of testing.
