FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in making thermomechanical hardware used in medical implantation structures, surgery tools, etc. Surfaces of parts to be bonded together made from titanium nickelide-base alloy are cleaned of oxides and brought in contact. At diffusion welding first step, heating is carried out in vacuum to 900-1100°C, pressure of 35-100 MPa is applied and curing is made for 10-60 minutes. At second step, pressure is withdrawn to make heating to 1120-1200°C and curing for 60-120 minutes.

EFFECT: welded joints with hardness approximating to that of mother metal.
