FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for diffusion welding of products made of alloys that are difficult to weld, in particular those based on titanium and aluminum. The surfaces of the welded parts are cleaned from oxides, polished, cleaned from various contaminants, and brought into contact. After that, the parts are placed in a scalded container, in which a vacuum is created to a working pressure P = 10-1-10-4 Pa. Then the container is placed in a press furnace, where it is heated to a temperature of 0.6-0.9 of the melting point of the material, pressure is applied to ensure mechanical deformation of the parts to be welded in the container by 2 to 5% of their geometric dimensions, and exposure is carried out under pressure at the specified temperature 180-240 minutes. After welding is completed, the container is removed from the press furnace and cooled together with the furnace. To apply pressure on the parts to be welded, a container with a membrane located in its lid, through which an inert gas is supplied, can be used.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the strength and quality of the welded joint from 80 to 96 percent of the strength of the base material and to obtain welded joints without deformation and shrinkage.
