FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, specifically to protective coatings for medical implants from titanium nickelide, and can be used in manufacture of endoprostheses with an increased service life. The method for producing an anti-corrosive coating on articles from monolithic titanium nickelide includes sequentially depositing three alternating titanium-nickel-titanium layers in an argon atmosphere and heating the articles to a temperature of 800 to 900°C sufficient for spontaneous beginning of the reaction of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis for 60±5 s in an argon atmosphere at a pressure of 10 Pa. The layers with a thickness in the range of 40 to 60 nm are deposited by the method for magnetron sputter deposition at a pressure of argon of 1 Pa. After said heating, cooling is executed in an argon atmosphere at a pressure of 10 Pa for 60 minutes to room temperature.
EFFECT: produced is an anti-corrosive coating with a reduced thickness and increased homogeneity of the structure, ensuring deformation of the described coating together with the base within the range of super-elastic properties of the base without cracking.
