FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at designing and modernisation of structures of extraction steam turbines, which allows increasing turbine efficiency due to reducing leaks through closed control diaphragms during continuous operation in heat extraction modes, as well as reducing erosion wear of moving blades in modes with wet steam before control diaphragms. Turning control diaphragm of extraction steam turbine includes guide vanes fixed between the body and the rim and a turning ring installed before them and provided with slots in it between steam passages. Side surfaces of slots are parallel to adjacent side surfaces of channels. Length of slots is equal to height of channels. Cross sectional area of the gap with the slot of the turning ring between adjacent channels is at least half the surface area of this cross section at absence of a slot.
EFFECT: improving economic efficiency of heat extraction modes of a steam turbine due to reducing steam leaks through closed control diaphragms, improving efficiency in condensation modes at open position of control diaphragms due to reducing hydraulic losses at the control diaphragm steam inlet and reducing erosion of moving blades due to removing some amount of liquid in modes with wet steam in a steam inlet chamber.
