FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed diaphragm comprises guide vanes secured between turbine body and shell ring. Flat contact sealing surface is made along rotary ring and diaphragm steam channels. Turn ring with steam channels corresponding to inlet cross-section of the diaphragm vane channels is arranged ahead of the vanes. Turn ring, body and shell ring has appropriate thrust surfaces shaped to allow, in rotation, their contact between turn ring and diaphragm over thrust surface and, in full closure position, their contact with thrust and sealing surfaces or solely with sealing surface.
EFFECT: higher reliability and efficiency.
