FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: crank shaft is placed so that it can be rotated in a casing. A fuel pump that takes fuel from a fuel tank and supplies it to a dosing valve is provided. The dosing valve supply to a dosing volume is performed with variable operating pressure. Opening and closing intervals of the dosing valve are calculated by means of a control device and control is performed to dose the amount of fuel in compliance with an engine load. In an engine start phase it is provided that the dosing valve is retained in the open position irrespective of estimated time during the filling period (F1, F2, F3, F4) till operating pressure of the dosing volume, which exists in the dosing valve mouth, is negative, and pressure in the fuel system of a fuel feed pipeline to the dosing valve is below the desired pressure.
EFFECT: simpler filling of a fuel dosing device.
