FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: there is the engine system comprising a vacuum source connected to the intake manifold, a fuel injection system, a crankcase ventilation system containing a positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve, and a controller comprising instructions to close the PCV valve during cranking and drive a vacuum source to reduce the pressure in the intake manifold and start fuel injection when the pressure in the intake manifold reaches the threshold value.
EFFECT: increased stability of engine starts using low-volatility fuel.
