FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method includes growing plants in moving containers located in a greenhouse with light-transmitting walls on a vertically mounted closed-loop conveyor with the ability of its continuous vertical movement relative to the frame, and handling of plants, comprising regulation of illumination, temperature, room humidity and nutrient solution supply. At that the uniformity of illumination of the plants is leveled throughout the room volume by additional continuous horizontal movement of the containers with the plants due to rotation of the conveyor frame in a horizontal plane. The device comprises a vertical carcass located on a foundation base, which is covered by light-transmitting material. Inside the carcass there is at least one closed-loop conveyor with the drive of continuous rotation about the vertical frame and containers for growing plants mounted on it. At that the device comprises the regulation system of illumination, temperature, humidity and nutrient solution supply. The device is equipped with a support and rotating mechanism located on the foundation base, with a drive of horizontal rotation.

EFFECT: increase of homogeneity of the environment inside the device and uniformity of illumination of plants, improvement of growing conditions of agricultural crops.
