SUBSTANCE: wet wipe for cleansing the skin or hair of a user comprises: a wipe substrate and a single-phase liquid composition containing from 0.05% (by weight of the composition) to 50% (by weight of the composition) of at least one water dispersible silicone and from 50% (by weight of the composition) to 99.95% (by weight of the composition) of water. Silicon represents modified sorbitan siloxane having the following structure 1, wherein R¹ represents an alkyl group having 7 to 21 carbon atoms, R², R³ and R⁴ are independently specified in a group consisting of H and structure 2, wherein at least one of the radicals R², R³ or R⁴ represents structure; a is an integer ranging from 0 to 200; b is an integer ranging from 1 to 10; z is an integer ranging from 1 to 10; c is an integer ranging from 0 to 10; d is an integer ranging from 5 to 20; n is an integer ranging from 7 to 17; e is an integer ranging from 0 to 30; f is an integer ranging from 0 to 30; g is an integer ranging from 0 to 30, wherein the sum of e, f, and g is an integer ranging from 9 to 50; and wherein the ratio of hydroxyl to carboxyl group ranges from 4:1 to 2:1.
