SUBSTANCE: pneumatic tyre includes at least two areas (6, 7) with a decorative coating, areas (11) without any decorative coating and marking areas (1). Two areas with the decorative coating include sets of ribs. Each area without any decorative coating has a flat smooth surface that contains no ribs and is enclosed between areas with the decorative coating in the tyre circumferential direction. The marking area contains tyre marking made in the form of letters, symbols or a combination of letters and symbols. An area without any decorative coating is located around each letter and symbol. Each area with the decorative coating contains at least two types of ribbed parts (6, 7) with different intervals between ribs.

EFFECT: improving legibility of tyre marking on its lateral side.
