SUBSTANCE: in a pneumatic tire, including decorative section (10) on the outer surface of sidewall section (1), decorative section (10) includes a plurality of decorative elements (20) arranged in a stepped manner along the reference lines (L) and parallel to each other. Each of decorative elements (20) forms a hexagon, in which three sections (21)-(23), forming a parallelogram, are arranged so that three sections (21)-(23) have adjacent sides. In each of sections (21)-(23) of each of the decorative elements (20), a plurality of ribs (31)-(33) are formed, extending in the same direction, and the inclination directions of ribs (31)-(33) differ from each other in three sections (21)-(23) forming each of the decorative elements (20).

EFFECT: improved visibility and decorativeness of the sidewall section, as well as reduction in the time of applying the pattern during tire design.
