FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: shell of shape-generating case is made as closed sealed vessel with hollow straight case fixed at the axis over the chamber. At lateral side of the straight case, in its lower part, there are radial holes; at that inner diameter of the above lower part is bigger than throat diameter. In the straight case as at guideways heave and cylindrical firing pin is installed with piston extension at the upper end. Firing pin together with the above straight case forms in the upper part of shape-generating case an isolated cavity covering the above piston extension from outside, which contacts permanently at its lower but-end surface with ends protruding to the above cavity from two rod hydraulic cylinders which are fixed rigidly symmetrically and in parallel to firing pin. The suggested device allows significant improvement in efficiency of impact compaction of soil due to use of heavy firing pin that carries out operational stroke only due to own weight. This fact excludes phenomenon of kickback related to non-productive loss of energy accumulated at idling.

EFFECT: use of invention allows increasing reliability and efficiency of soil compactor operation, increasing production rate and improving working conditions and occupational safety.
