FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: flushing assembly of a drilling bit includes a housing with a passage and a seat provided with an annular bore, and a nozzle with a sealing element, which is installed in the seat and fixed there by means of a retaining split ring arranged in the annular bore of the seat. The flushing assembly is equipped with fasteners in the form of rods of stepped shape and an additional ring with axial channels; with that, the additional ring is arranged between the lower edge of a head piece and the upper edge of a stop split-type ring. As per the first version, the head piece has blind axial channels combined with axial channels of the additional ring and intended to arrange fasteners installed in initial position flush with the lower edge of the additional ring and retained in such a position by means of low-melting material. As per the second version, the head piece has blind axial channels for arrangement of fasteners, which, when in working position, are combined with axial channels of the additional ring, and when in initial position, they are offset one relative to the other in a circumferential direction and spring-loaded in axial direction.
EFFECT: improving operating reliability and efficiency of the whole bit.
