FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed damper consists of a stack of washers with orifices locked in the case and gaps between washers created by sleeves arranged there between. To decrease pressure pulsations caused by shedding of vortices, confusers are made in orifices with vertex angle α=40…80° at their inlet and diffusers with vertex angle β=6…30° arranged at the outlet. Orifices are distributed over radius of washers so that their capacity area shaped the flow rate profile in pipeline cross-section approximating to fluid steady-state flow.
EFFECT: decreased pressure pulsations, pipeline surface vibrations and ambient noise.
