FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: turbo-compressor of a refrigerating unit includes a working stage arranged in the housing, a multiplying gear, the drive gear of which is installed on a drive shaft and is engaged with a driven gear installed on the rotor shaft of a working hub. Inner cavity of the multiplying gear is interconnected with an oil tank frame; the working stage housing is connected to suction and discharge pipelines of a gas system of the refrigerating unit, and the oil tank frame is interconnected with a suction pipeline. The inner cavity of the multiplying gear is interconnected with the suction pipeline through a balancing line equipped with shutoff valves, which are in open position at non-working state of the turbo-compressor and in closed (at start-up) and working state of the turbo-compressor. As per the second version, the turbo-compressor of the refrigerating unit includes at least two working stages, each of which is arranged in the corresponding housing.
EFFECT: providing protection of working stages and gas system of an ice generating unit as a whole against penetration of oil to them from the oil tank frame during preparation of the turbo-compressor for start-up and total oil losses at its operation; improving reliability and service life of the device.
