FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: switch (1), particularly a low-voltage switch, for connection between electric contacts has a positioning mechanism (2) between the closed position and the open position of the electric contacts. The switch has an indicator device (3) of the contact state, which is a visual part (4) positioned such that it is visible from the outside, between a first position corresponding to the closed position and a second position corresponding to the open position, an end part (6), fastened to the positioning mechanism, and an intermediate part (5) which is an elastically stretched and compressed moulded element which generates an elastic force and causes positioning of the visual part (4) according to the movement of the end part (6).

EFFECT: indicating the real position of the contact of a switch irrespective of the position of the manual control means without using complex mechanisms, which simplifies the configuration of the switch, its manufacturing and assembly.
