SUBSTANCE: control device of an electrical switching device is located in an insulating housing and includes at least one moving contact (3) supported with contact support (2), having the possibility of being put into connection with at least one fixed contact (4) that is fixed relative to the housing. The moving contact is put into movement either manually by means of handle (7), or automatically. A quick closure device includes ratchet gear (25) fixed so that it can rotate about hinge pin X of handle (7). Ratchet gear (25) is offset by means of a spring to a limiter of handle (7), actuated by means of handle (7) in the closure direction of fixed and moving contacts till connection with a contact support so that quick closure of the moving contact can be implemented. Ratchet gear (25) includes indicator (31) that is visible on outer side through hole (5) of the housing only when fixed (3) and moving (4) contacts are open.

EFFECT: simpler structure by reducing the number of parts.
