FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: in the method, a V-shaped unidirectional dipole antenna has a pair of hollow cones facing each other with their vertices, and a feed line connected to the vertices of the cones. The axes of symmetry of dipole arms of the hollow cones lie in the same plane. A flat metal reflector is placed perpendicular to the axis in which the axes of symmetry of dipole arms of the hollow cones lie. The vertices of the hollow cones are raised over the flat reflector to form a constant phase centre, and the short dipole arms are connected to the edge of the flat reflector by bus lines in form of metal dowels.
EFFECT: wider frequency band and providing unidirectionality of the antenna by forming a constant phase centre which is raised over the flat reflector.
