FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering and serves as a high-altitude antenna of a radio direction-finder receiving device. Disclosed is a highly directional high-altitude antenna consisting of two or more tiered multi-element horizontal linear sub-arrays placed parallel to the support surface one above the other vertically, assembled into a single structure and fixed to a pair of aircraft, according to the invention, two or more tier sub-arrays are additionally introduced, arranged parallel to the ground one above the other vertically, each of which consists of a pair of TEM-type transverse electromagnetic field flat horns in the form of a sheet metal rectangle with a slot expanding towards the centre of the sub-array along the horizontal axis of symmetry and dividing the rectangle into two symmetrical figures, wherein the pair of said TEM horns is spaced apart horizontally and turned towards each other, wherein a metal wire in dielectric insulation is attached to the edges of the TEM horns in the narrow part of the slot.
EFFECT: longer range, easier manufacture, installation and deployment, high mechanical strength.
