FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of tubes and may be used in production of tubes from composite materials. Sheet is formed by plastic strain nearby edges at the mandrel to produce curved side edges, reduction to pipe and jointing the edges over the entire length. Note here that jointing of edges is executed in tight fixing by lock elements that feature shape memory and are composed of hollow tubular elements with side cuts in length equal to that of sheets being connected.
EFFECT: homogeneous structure and uniform mechanical properties.
