FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to T-joint molding methods. A rectangular workpiece is made with a round or elliptical hole for branching. On the bending machine a rectangular workpiece is formed into the shape of two semi-circles joined by straight sections. A longitudinal weld is made to joint the joint of bent edges. Then heated to temperature of 750–1,150 °C. Crosswise crimp and flanging of T-joint are performed by punch installed on pulling device.
EFFECT: microstructure of the T-joint main metal is improved.
