FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to flushing assemblies of a rock-destructing tool of water jet type. A flushing assembly of the drilling bit includes a housing with a channel and a seat having an annular bore and a head piece with a sealing element, which is installed in the seat and fixed there by means of a locking split-type ring arranged in the annular bore of the seat. The flushing assembly is provided with retainers in the form of rods of stepped shape. The head piece and the seat for it are of mating two-stepped shape; lower step of the head piece has longitudinal slots of stepped shape throughout the height of lateral surface to arrange retainers. When in working position, steps of rods of smaller size are installed so that they can interact with inner surface of the locking split-type ring.

EFFECT: improving operating reliability and efficiency of a flushing assembly and the whole bit.
