FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for making packages from multiple fan-folded band material. Proposed device comprises rotary multiple tool holder. Every tool comprises base element and hooking element turning about the latter. Band material can be passed via circumferential outer surface. Tool holder can drive the tools along working part along which they can be engaged with band material at folding aforesaid hooking element for engagement of opposite wall section of said material along connection sections that define aforesaid packages and along back path along which said tools can be disengaged from said band material. Every tool can be driven jointly with band material when it runs in said working path. Every tool engaged with said band material adapted to production of at least two packages. Every pair of adjacent tools is adapted for joint production of one package.
EFFECT: band packages interconnected with no mid sections.
