FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building and may be used in construction and repair of ship sides. Side bulkhead comprises skin, joists including resilient inserts and reinforcing elements jointing joist flanges with bases of adjacent joists. To support the joists, skin reactive forces of the skin and reinforcing elements are used to allow integrating said skin and said reinforcing elements with elastoplastic base of joists.
EFFECT: higher bearing capacity of joists.
