FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to active and passive stabilisation of a vessel, for example, ships, vessels for operation in shallow waters, floaters, drill rigs and lifting cranes. Vessel 10 is equipped with buoyancy and/or ballast cisterns 11a-d. The latter have openings 12a-d made in vessel bottom. Said openings allow passage of notable flow of water without cavitation of whatever other type of drag. System comprises means 13a-d for feeding fluid into cisterns 11a-d controlled to ensure opposition to external force action to motion of ship vessel 10. Invention covers also the method of active and passive stabilisation with the help of above described system.
EFFECT: higher safety in open sea.
