FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: there is a safety rupture disc of reverse action and its formation methods. As a rule, the safety rupture disc includes a convex part and a restricting flanged zone enveloping the convex part. The convex part represents a cavity formed by a mechanical method and representing a rupture line and containing a single slot. Some versions of implementation in a mechanical process, by means of which the cavity is formed, use a cutter for high-speed milling, which removes some part of metal from the convex part of the disc without any destruction of homogeneous grain structure of metal near the slot.
EFFECT: improving reliability and actuation accuracy of a safety rupture disc of reverse action.
