SUBSTANCE: two pipeline gripping devices that shall be used together in a pipeline fitting assembly are connected or retained together as a cartridge or a subassembly prior to assembly with fitting components to form the fitting assembly. In a more concrete version of implementation, one or both pipeline gripping devices include a retaining structure, by means of which the devices are mechanically connected together as a subassembly. In one version of implementation, the front bushing and the rear bushing for the pipe fitting can be latched together.
EFFECT: improving reliable connection of a fitting with a pipeline.
