SUBSTANCE: valuable documents upon whose check an error has occurred are transported to a deposit unit having several deposit sections. The faulty valuable documents of different accounting units are thereby deposited on different deposit sections of the deposit unit. For further processing, the faulty valuable documents are removed from the deposit unit by an operator according to the first in, first out principle.
EFFECT: enabling time-flexible further processing of faulty valuable documents.
