FIELD: sheet materials handling and banding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sets for laying nonfastened sheet material, namely securities, bank notes, etc. Proposed device contains transportation unit 2 for conveying sheet material 1 and pile unit 3 for placing sheet material 1 in receiving unit and banding unit 7. In devices of similar type special intake units are provided for receiving of sheet material to be banded, said units being non-interchangeable. In claimed invention receiving unit is suitable for laying on non-fastened and/or band fastened sheet material, as need be. Method of laying nonfastened sheet material is described also.
EFFECT: possibility of flexibly changing mode of laying of sheet material owing to use of receiving unit suitable for laying non-fastened and/or band fastened sheet material.
