FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic control over rectification. Proposed method comprises measurement of initial mix flow rate and composition in feed line. Water-alcohol mix flow rate and temperature are measured in still circulation line. Pressure and level are measured in column still. Vapor temperature is measured at column outlet. Heat carrier flow rate is measured in circulation line while level is measured in buffer tank. Heat carrier temperature is measured at reflux cooler inlet and evaporator outlet. Pressure and flow rate upstream of compressor are measured in coolant circulation line. Pressure, temperature and flow rate are measured upstream of heat control valve. Pressure and temperature are measured downstream of the valve. Compressor and pump drives power are measured. Measured parameters and logical-program algorithm loaded in microprocessor are used for comprehensive control over process parameters with due allowance for bilateral restrictions applied thereto. Process total heat power consumption parameters are calculated to define their derivative by the amount of alcohol evaporated from water-alcohol mix to influence the initial product consumption in slope opposition relationship subject to derivative sign.
EFFECT: material and power savings, higher efficiency and reliability of control.
