FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method relates to chemical, petrochemical and gas industries and can be used for extraction or concentration of one or several target components from multicomponent mix, for example, helium from natural gas. In compliance with this method, separation is effected at a time with mix drying in a cycle. Note here that vapor-gas mix fed to adsorption is kept for a time required for reaching preset partial differential pressure of target product outside and inside hollow spherical particles. Walls of said particles are made of selectively permeable material relative to target product, for example, from aluminosilicate glass. Simultaneously, byproduct is dried and sorbed by granules humectants, for example, γ-aluminium oxide (γ-Al2O3) absorbing fluid vapors. Then, desorption of target product and byproduct are desorbed to repeat the cycle.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and quality of separation.
