SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a folding carton (1) comprising a bottom and the first and second side walls (2, 3) connected with the bottom with the ability to rotate, which in the unfolded state form with the bottom the box open upwards, and also the retaining element (4) situated on one first side wall (2) and the axis (5) mounted with the ability to rotate on one second side wall (3). The axis (5) at its end (5a, 5b) has a cross section differing from a circular shape, and the end (5a, 5b) of the axis in the first position of rotation blocks by the retaining element (4) the first side wall (2) with the second (3), and in the second position of rotation it unlocks the said side walls (2, 3).
