FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. A fixation device for an intravital lumen comprises a base and retention mechanism mounted on the base. The retention mechanism comprises a body, at least a set of clips and a rotation axis. Each clip is holed. The rotation axis extends through the clip hole and fastens each set of clips on the body. When the fixation device is integrated into the intravital lumen, the soft tissue of the intravital lumen penetrates into a gap. A force is applied to back clip ends to make them rotate about the rotation axis and squeeze the soft tissue in the gap.
EFFECT: device is fixed in some points of the intravital lumen that provides limiting the axial rotation of the device in the tissue and increasing the fixation of accuracy of device positioning.
