SUBSTANCE: device for twisting plastic monofilaments for forming a plastic network with open cells comprises: a front mechanism for twisting and the rear mechanism for twisting, which comprise the respective pairs of front and rear cop guides for introducing the plastic monofilaments for twisting into them. Each pair of front cop guide and rear cop guide is connected by the respective thermally conductive thread guides, preferably made in the form of tubes through which the uniform heating of the plastic monofilament is provided, which is conducted through the tube. The machine for twisting plastic monofilaments for forming a plastic network with open cells comprises: supply, heating, twisting, collecting devices, and additionally supporting device located downstream of the twisting device, to maintain uniform form of the newly formed network with open cells.

EFFECT: creation of the strong, uniform, durable plastic network with open cells or a network with cells in the form of honeycombs.
