FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed pipe comprises perforated inner shell making its flow duct, solid outer shell, core and carcass. Inner and outer shells make a chamber stopped at front and rear ends. Core is arranged between inner and outer shells and spaced therefrom and comprises sound power dissipation layer composed by hollow balls retained nearby. Carcass comprises front and rear sections interconnected by lengthwise elements. Said carcass supports the core to divide it in multiple cells filled with hollow ball retained between perforated structures. Said carcass is secured to inner and outer shells by at least one of carcass front and rear sections.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of noise absorption without increase in weight.
