FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed support comprises hollow body stretching carriage coupled with hydraulic cylinder sliding axially there inside. Support body and stretching carriage case are composed of opposed barrels. Stretching carriage case is equipped with cover. Support body, stretching carriage case and its cover are cut in axial direction while support body and case cover have radial seats for billet. Cams interacting therewith are composed of two spring-loaded turning jaws mounted at said body and case. To rule out turns of stretching carriage relative to support body a plate connected with support body cut surface to interact with carriage case cut surface.
EFFECT: fast fitting of billet in place, simplified design.
