FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly to advisement of percussion machine impart frequency and poser. Said machine comprises case, hammer with discharge openings that form with the case the hammer forward stroke chamber and hammer backstroke chamber, inertial-friction valve with outlets and seal to reciprocate over the rod secured at hammer, working fluid source arranged to force working fluid into backstroke chamber. Working fluid is forced into backstroke chamber in controlled portions to make hammer with said inertial-friction valve reach the height in said case sufficient to deliver required impact power. Working fluid fed into said backstroke chamber is terminated to allow down travel of the hammer under action of gravity forces. Said inertial-friction valve is retained at top position at rod of the hammer under friction forces acting between the case and valve seal at hammer down travel to close discharge openings of the hammer and inertial-friction valve communicating both aforesaid chambers. It allows the travel of inertial-friction valve travel after hammer over the rod and closure of openings of hammer and said valve at hammer bottom position.
EFFECT: power savings, expanded applications.
