SUBSTANCE: part is made of a metal billet comprising at least one slot (5), which stretches along the direction of the force applied to a part during operation, and in which there is at least one fibrous stiffening element (10). The fibrous element has a metal shell and is connected to the billet due to melting of the shell and its connection with the billet metal. At the same time at least one of the ends (12) of the fibrous element is made truncated and is fully submerged into the metal, from which the mechanical part is made.

EFFECT: increased resistance of a part to disconnection or break of fibres.
